At Costume Gear Shop, we take pride in the quality of our cosplay materials—from our precision 2mm foam to our sturdy 10mm options, and from vibrant acrylique iridescente to specialty 3D Brod’line fabrics. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes an item may not meet your expectations. This policy outlines our process for returns and exchanges.

Return & Exchange Timeframe

You may return or exchange most items within 15 days of receiving your order.

Conditions for Returns & Exchanges

  • Items must be unused, unaltered, and in their original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (order number) is required.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of these products, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Cut-to-order materials (e.g., specific measurements of foam like 10mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm or fabric by weight like 250g, 30g, 400g)
  • Opened or used consumables (e.g., acrylic sheets such as Acrylique fluorescente, Acrylique iridescente, Acrylique opaque, Acrylique transparente)
  • Accessories (e.g., Accessoires, Accessoires Arda) if opened or used
  • 3D Specialty Materials (e.g., 3D Brod’line, 3D Metal) if the original packaging is compromised

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receipt. Include your order number and reason for return/exchange.
  2. Wait for Approval: We will respond within 2 business days with instructions and a return authorization number (if approved).
  3. Ship the Item: Securely package the item(s) and mail them to the address provided. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
  4. Processing: Once received, we will inspect the item and process your refund or exchange within 5 business days.

Refund Timing & Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, JCB): 5-10 business days after processing.
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing.

Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable for reasons other than damage or defect.
